The Earth has music for those who listen

Art, like music, is all around us. Almost anything can be reused and recycled to create a work of beauty. I try to live 'green' and recycle a lot of materials for my crafts. Here are examples of mosaic'd wine bottles that I found on the internet (I'll add pictures of my own mosaic'd bottles in a separate post), which would make great decorations for indoors or outdoors. Smaller glass colddrink bottles come in a lot of different colours and are excellent for making outdoor candle-holders or wind-chimes. A cool idea for glass bottle wind-chimes is to colour them yourself using stained glass paint. You can also mosaic it with light tessarae like shells or small ceramic figures of a light weight.

I can also make trays of coasters using old broken plates and cups. Once you start focussing on living a more environmentally friendly lifestyle, you'll soon realize that the possibilities and usesfor recycled materials are infinite.

"The earth has its music for those who will listen, Its bright variations forever abound; With all the wonders that God has bequeathed us, There is nothing that thrills like the magic of sound.” -George Santayana.

Credits to the original artists of these mosaic'd glass bottles. Mine to follow soon.
